Special provisions for Indian citizens:
Indian citizens holding a normal passport can obtain a visa on arrival for a maximum stay of 14 days if they also have one of the following:
- A visit visa issued by the USA, or
- A green card issued by the USA, or
- A residence visa issued by the UK, or
- A residence visa issued by the EU
Note: The visas or the green card must be valid for at least six months from the date of arrival into the UAE.
The visa on arrival is free of charge and stamped on your passport upon entry. Requirements may change, so always check with the UAE embassy or official sources before traveling.
Pre-arranged Visas
Countries requiring pre-arranged visas to enter the UAE
Citizens of countries not eligible for visa on arrival must obtain a pre-arranged visa before traveling to the UAE. According to the official Dubai Tourism website, the following visa types are available:
Pre-arranged visas must be obtained through authorized channels such as UAE embassies, consulates, official airline offices, or approved travel agencies and hotels.

GCC Residents
Visa requirements for expatriate residents of GCC countries
GCC residents (non-GCC nationals) are required to obtain a pre-approved eVisa before traveling to the UAE. Visa on arrival is not available for expatriate residents of GCC countries, but the process is simple when you apply through our service.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for a UAE visa as a GCC resident, you must meet the following conditions:
- Hold a valid residency permit in a GCC country (residence must be valid for at least 1 year)
- Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months
